Privacy Policy

Stickly provides mobile phlebotomy scheduling: patients book at-home blood draws, and certified phlebotomists carry them out. Because that involves health information, this policy explains in plain terms what we collect, why, who sees it, and what we will never do with it.

Information we collect

Account information. Your name, email address, username or mobile number, and password. You need at least one way to be contacted so you can recover your account.

Appointment information. The services you book, when and where the visit happens, the address you give us (including any access instructions such as a gate code), and which phlebotomist attends.

Health information. Date of birth, insurance details if you provide them, notes relevant to your draw, and any requisition form or insurance card you choose to upload.

Payment information.Card payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers are entered directly into Stripe and are never stored on Stickly’s systems.

Usage records. We keep an audit log of sign-ins and of access to patient records, so we can tell who viewed or changed what, and when.

How we use your information

To schedule and carry out your appointment, to take payment for it, to tell you about changes to it, to keep records we are required to keep, and to secure the service. That is the whole list. We do not use your information to advertise to you, and we do not build profiles for marketing.

SMS text messages

If you opt in, we send text messages about your appointments — confirmations, reminders, notice that your phlebotomist is on the way, and rescheduling or cancellation updates.

Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are used only to send you the appointment messages described above, and are shared only with the messaging provider that delivers them on our behalf.

Consent is not a condition of booking or of receiving any service. Message frequency varies with how often you book. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. You can also turn text messages off in your account settings at any time. Opting out of texts does not cancel your appointments — we will contact you by email instead.

We do not include health details in text messages or emails. A message tells you something has changed and asks you to sign in to see it.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

We share only what is necessary, and only with:

  • the phlebotomy company you booked with, and the phlebotomist assigned to your visit;
  • a doctor’s office or medical facility, where that facility is paying for your visit and has arranged it with you;
  • service providers who operate parts of the platform for us — hosting, the database, payment processing, email and text delivery — and who may use the information only to provide that service to us;
  • anyone you ask us to share it with; and
  • authorities where the law requires it.

Each phlebotomy company on Stickly sees only its own patients. If you book with more than one company, neither can see the other’s appointments or records.

Health information

Health information you give us is used to carry out your blood draw and to bill for it. Access is restricted to the staff who need it for your visit, and every access is recorded. We do not use health information for marketing, and we do not sell it.

Stickly is built to support HIPAA obligations, including access controls, audit logging and encryption in transit. If you have questions about how your health information is handled, contact us using the details below.

How we protect it

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form. Access to patient records is limited by role and recorded in an audit log. Uploaded documents are stored privately and are reachable only through short-lived links issued to authorised staff.

How long we keep it

Appointment and billing records are kept for as long as the law requires for medical and financial records. Uploaded requisition forms and insurance cards are deleted automatically after they are no longer needed for your visit. You can ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.

Your choices

You can view and correct your account details when signed in, turn text messages on or off, and ask for a copy of the information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us below.

Children

Stickly is intended for use by adults. Where a draw is for a child, a parent or guardian books and manages the appointment.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated to you directly.
